SMS Terms

Last updated August 2026

These terms govern the Atlas Risk Partners LLC text messaging program — the Atlas Text Concierge at (833) 390-5379. They are in addition to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

What the program is

Customer-initiated conversational and service messaging about commercial insurance. You text Atlas, and Atlas replies in the same thread about:

  • an insurance request you have made;
  • intake and application questions we need answered;
  • documents we need, including secure links for uploading them;
  • the status of an application, a quote or a policy;
  • servicing conversations — certificates, endorsements, renewals and claims.

This is not a marketing program. Atlas does not send promotional or advertising text messages under it.

Consent

You opt in by texting the Atlas number, or by expressly asking Atlas to communicate with you by text — for example, by giving us your mobile number for that purpose during an insurance conversation. In either case the messages that follow relate to your own insurance request or account.

By texting Atlas Risk Partners, you consent to receive conversational and service-related text messages related to your insurance request or account. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any insurance or service from Atlas. You can decline texts and work with us entirely by email or phone.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. It depends on the conversation you start and where your insurance is in its workflow.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Atlas does not charge for the messages; your mobile carrier may, according to your plan.

Opting out

Reply STOP at any time. Automated Atlas texts to that number stop. We send one final confirmation of the opt-out, which carrier rules require, and nothing after it. To resume messaging later, reply START. Messaging resumes on that number. Opting out of texts does not withdraw an insurance request or end a policy — it changes how we reach you, and we will continue by email.

Help

Reply HELP at any time. Atlas replies with who we are, what this number is for, and how to reach a broker. You can also reach us by email at hello@atlasriskinsurance.com or through our contact page.

Carriers

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and your device, and neither Atlas nor your carrier guarantees that any particular message arrives or arrives on time. Time-sensitive matters — a claim, a binding deadline, a notice of cancellation — should also be sent to hello@atlasriskinsurance.com.

Nothing in a text binds coverage

Text messages are a way to reach Atlas, not a way to bind insurance. Coverage is effective only when a broker confirms it in writing and the carrier issues a binder or policy, and actual coverage is governed solely by the policy as issued.

Privacy

What we collect through the messaging program, and what we do with it, is described in our Privacy Policy. Mobile information and SMS consent or opt-in data will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Changes

Atlas may update these SMS terms. The current version is always posted on this page, and material changes are reflected in the “last updated” date above.
