Privacy Policy

Atlas Risk Partners LLC (“Atlas”, “we”) is a commercial insurance brokerage. This policy explains what information we collect through www.atlasriskinsurance.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

Information we collect

• Information you give us. Company details, contact details, coverage history, exposure information, and any documents you upload — including declarations pages, loss runs, applications, and contracts.
• Information collected automatically. Standard web server logs, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URL.
• Information from third parties. Where necessary to quote or service your insurance — for example, carrier loss history, publicly available business information, and information supplied by your prior broker at your direction.

How we use it

• To prepare, submit, and negotiate insurance applications on your behalf.
• To service policies we place, including endorsements, certificates, and claims.
• To respond to your questions and provide coverage guidance.
• To meet legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations that apply to insurance producers.
• To improve our website and services.

Who we share it with

To place insurance we must share your information with insurance carriers, wholesale brokers, and managing general agents. We may also share information with service providers who support our operations (hosting, email, document storage, agency management systems) under confidentiality obligations, and with regulators or other parties where required by law.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Text messaging (SMS)

Atlas can be reached by text message. The program is described in our SMS Terms, and how a conversation starts is explained on our texting page. When you text us, or ask us to text you, we collect:

• your mobile number;
• the content of the messages exchanged, including any files you send;
• messaging metadata — timestamps, delivery status, message segment counts and the carrier information our messaging provider returns;
• your consent status, including any opt-out or opt-in keyword you send and when you sent it;
• the information you provide during the insurance conversation itself.

We use it to answer you, to prepare and service your insurance, and to keep the record of consent and communications that applies to insurance producers. Text messages are handled the same way as the rest of your information described above.

Mobile information and SMS consent or opt-in data will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile number or consent record is provided to anyone for lead generation, list building, advertising or any other marketing use.

This does not prevent the sharing necessary to operate the messaging service and your insurance: our messaging provider and the wireless carriers transmit and deliver the messages, and the carriers, wholesale brokers and service providers described above continue to receive what they need to quote and service your coverage. Each does so on Atlas's instructions and under the confidentiality and security obligations set out in this policy — never for their own marketing.

Reply STOP to any Atlas text to stop automated messages, or HELP for help. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.

Documents you upload

Documents submitted through our quote and contact forms are treated as confidential business information. They are used to prepare and service your insurance and are retained in accordance with the recordkeeping requirements applicable to insurance brokers.

Retention

We retain records for as long as necessary to service your account and to satisfy applicable legal, regulatory, and professional recordkeeping obligations, which for insurance brokers is typically several years after a policy term ends.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal information, and to appeal a decision we make about such a request. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@atlasriskinsurance.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This website is directed to businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
