Atlas Risk Partners LLC (“Atlas”, “we”) is a commercial insurance brokerage. This policy explains what information we collect through www.atlasriskinsurance.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. Company details, contact details, coverage history, exposure information, and any documents you upload — including declarations pages, loss runs, applications, and contracts.
- Information collected automatically. Standard web server logs, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URL.
- Information from third parties. Where necessary to quote or service your insurance — for example, carrier loss history, publicly available business information, and information supplied by your prior broker at your direction.
How we use it
- To prepare, submit, and negotiate insurance applications on your behalf.
- To service policies we place, including endorsements, certificates, and claims.
- To respond to your questions and provide coverage guidance.
- To meet legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations that apply to insurance producers.
- To improve our website and services.
Who we share it with
To place insurance we must share your information with insurance carriers, wholesale brokers, and managing general agents. We may also share information with service providers who support our operations (hosting, email, document storage, agency management systems) under confidentiality obligations, and with regulators or other parties where required by law.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Documents you upload
Documents submitted through our quote and contact forms are treated as confidential business information. They are used to prepare and service your insurance and are retained in accordance with the recordkeeping requirements applicable to insurance brokers.
Retention
We retain records for as long as necessary to service your account and to satisfy applicable legal, regulatory, and professional recordkeeping obligations, which for insurance brokers is typically several years after a policy term ends.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal information, and to appeal a decision we make about such a request. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@atlasriskinsurance.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This website is directed to businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
